Every counselor has a unique story as to why he or she pursued this profession. We advocate for our clients and students, and this is our opportunity to advocate for ourselves and the profession. Our volunteers are the heart of our organization, and we need you! As an active member of the Arizona Counseling Association, there are ample opportunities to encourage the development of the counseling profession while promoting professional identity.
Become a Board Member
The Arizona Counseling Association is always looking for highly motivated individuals that are seeking to promote the development of the counseling profession.
The board terms are for one (1) year, running from January to December. Currently the board has 1 board call a month in an evening, and meets in person twice a year. Board members currently are offered free registration to the annual conference and any other AzCA event. All positions are a yearly commitment and for the Executive Committee, elections are held every Fall for the new term starting in January.
