Every counselor has a unique story as to why he or she pursued this profession. We advocate for our clients and students, and this is our opportunity to advocate for ourselves and the profession. Our volunteers are the heart of our organization, and we need you! As an active member of the Arizona Counselors Association, there are ample opportunities to encourage the development of the counseling profession while promoting professional identity.
Become a Board Member
The Arizona Counselors Association is always looking for highly motivated individuals that are seeking to promote the development of the counseling profession.
The board terms are for one (1) year, renewable, running from July 1st to June 30th. Currently the board has one (1) virtual meeting per month and meets in person once or twice a year. Board members are currently offered discounted or free registration to the annual conference and other AzCA events. All positions are a yearly commitment and for the Executive Committee, elections are held annually for the new term starting in July.
